6:30 PM – U.S. Open $25,000 U25 Grand Prix
The U.S. Open – U25 will feature young riders with bright futures in the sport of show jumping. U25 classes give the up-and-coming stars of tomorrow a valuable stepping-stone from the junior and amateur ranks to the grand prix level. U25 events have become popular in recent years. Based on speed and faults, U25 riders will approach a first-round course of fences. Those who leave all the rails intact will advance to a jump-off where they will race against the clock. The rider who navigates the shorter second-round course in the fastest time while leaving all the rails up will be crowned the winner.
8:00 PM – U.S. Open (Round 1) $40,000 FEI Speed Class
Thursday’s U.S. Open – Speed will welcome horses and riders of varying ages – both men and women to qualify for Friday’s $216,000 Grand Prix CSI 3*, presented by Rolex. They will battle over one round of fences with the fastest clear rider as the winner.
9:00 PM – Puissance (High Jump) Class
A favorite class with spectators for its entertaining and electric atmosphere, the Puissance starts with a wall set at 4 feet, 6 inches high. As horses clear it, the wall is raised, and the thrilling competition continues with each round, showcasing the versatility and athleticism of the horse. Fans hold their breath to see who can clear the towering jump as horses gallop down to the wall.
