Guide to Watching Dressage

Often described as the figure skating of equestrian sport, Dressage showcases the beauty, athleticism and strength of the horse, as well as their bond with a rider. While performing choreographed routines, competitors are judged from the sidelines by predetermined judges. Each horse and rider combination will receive a score out of 100. The highest score at the end of competition will be draped in winner’s ribbons.
